Congratulations to Ian & Janine who gave birth to a baby boy
on 16th April 2010.
Ian missed band rehearsal on that night but I think we can let
him off this once !
Hopefully, we will get to meet the new arrival at a rehearsal
soon.

Mike Grant (percussion)
retired from the band after nearly 20 years of membership.
The band gave him a rousing send off during his last concert at
St John's church, Eden Park
We wish him and his wife Kitty all the very best and will miss
them both greatly.

gave birth to a baby girl.
Lily joins brothers Jacob and Thoms in the Gibbs family.

Congratulations to Del and Natalie
who tied the knot at Leeds Castle on
27th October. This is the first ever band wedding!

Thomas Gibbs
"CONGRATULATIONS!" to Martin and Anna, who now have
a new baby boy Thomas, born on 5th October at 12.10pm. He is a
new little brother to Jacob. We wish the family best wishes and
look forward to meeting Thomas soon.

Karen Taylor
I am sure you will all join me in saying a huge "FAREWELL"
to Karen Taylor in the clarinet section. She is moving away to
Edenbridge, and will no longer be able to attend rehearsals with
us.Karen has
been in the band for over a year and came to Estepona with us.
She kept everyone amused and happy and has kindly left her tinsel
to remind us of her!!
We wish Karen all the best and I am sure we will see her again
on one of our foreign tours.
Peter Warner
It is with great
sadness that the band says goodbye to Peter Warner who died of
cancer on 22nd September. He was a talented clarinettist (and
artist) and had played in the band for a number of years. He took
part in many concerts and will be greatly missed by us all. Our
sympathies lie with his family at this time.
